I am planning on get Mac Mini w/ 512 mb ram, 40 gig hd, combo drive, blue-tooth and airport extreme card installed, wireless keyboard and mouse with OX 10 panther for $772 at then adding a Xerox 17 inche LCD flat panel with DVI connection at Costco for $269. Totalling roughly $1000. Is this a wise choice? I will mainly use it for Internet surfing and Photoshop 7. Your advise is greatly appreciated.

At roughly 1000, maybe you can entertain laptops or other models. The mini is not a bargain.

Something's amiss with that price. Seems high and you can do better.

Try the MAC forums...

The concept of the mini was if you allready had a monitor
and keyboard you could get mini. If your are doing a whole system you may want to look at eMac before you buy. John

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
