Please help choose a 30 gb mp3 player! Which one is the best

Jul 5, 2005 3:05AM PDT

I have the necessary money to buy a new mp3 player, I have spent weeks reading reviews and forum posts, and well my decision is between 3 hardrive mp3 players. I am between the Cowon IAudio X5L 30 gb, Ipod photo 30gb, and sony NW-HD5H 30 gb.

Each own has its pros and cons, and I think you know them. My main concern is sound quality and music capacity. It is very important to me to fit the most I can of music in the mp3 player, and for it to have a good sound quality, for I am also planning to buy some good headphones. Other features like video, voice recorder, photos, a wide range of accesories, are a good thing, and I also take them in account, but they are not as important as sound quality and capacity (that's why I am kind of leaning for sony in this one).

The problem about buying the NW-HD5H 30gb, is that it hasnt been out yet and I have to wait for it to go out. But I am also seriously thinking about buying the Cowon X5L instead of waiting for the sony to come out. I also have read about many ptoblems the Nw-hd5 owners have had with it, speially concerning the software, the DMR and the crack.

So please, people that own these players or that know about the subject, help me choose the best one, I am taking an important decision in here, i am 18 year old and I have worked my a$$ to get the money, so give me your opinion

thanks
