Try it both ways. A range is usually from one number to another. But I can't see your configuration page so I can't be specific. As such, try it both ways.
Hello friends.
I am very new at this and need help from a kind soul who understands wifi and networking. My wife and I are first time parents and got an IP camera to monitor our baby. The camera is set up to transmit on port 777, so I can see the camera remotelly by typing its internal IP address followed by :777. So far so good.
The problem is, I can only connect to it while I'm on my own home network, and to connect to it from someplace else, I need to "open" the port and use a service like no-ip.org. That much makes sense, but is also where I'm stuck.
I know how to open my router's ports with its internal configuration page by logging in to its internal IP, but I'm unsure of the values to use.
Do I put 777 is "port range" and 80 in "local port"? Or is it the other way around? Or something else entirely?
