Which Windows?

XP, Vista or Win 7?

If this is Windows XP, goto http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm and find his "EXE File Association fix". Download that, and read his instructions for using it.

It should re-associate Windows .exe files correctly.

Do not use Registry Cleaners!
