id check out the dv5000, it has a few better features for a better price, it also has a 64 bit processor, so you can upgrade to vista if you want to.

I've got a Dv4000 with the X700 GPU and I

am very pleased with it. I've used it daily and extensively since I bought (ordered it first day it was available in September). I wrote a full review of it that you can find at:

I've since not changed my mind about anything I wrote in that review. If I had the purchase to do again, nearly half a year later (ages in computer years) I'd still buy it... it's still the only HP with the X700 GPU, which is a very good componant. I continue to be pleased with HP support (which was a big question mark for me after reading negitive comments here and in some surveys) but they've been very good.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
