Question

Please advise if this pc build is good for gaming

Aug 28, 2017 12:54AM PDT

Hi,

Please could someone advise me as to how good the following build is for PC gaming?

I'm looking to play Mass Effect Andromeda, Dishonoured 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, and The Secret World MMO. It would be cool if it was to some extent future proof too. I don't need absolutely top-end performance - gameplay is more important to me than perfect photo-realism lol.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Corsair Carbide Series 200R CC-9011041-WW
Intel Core i5-7600K
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 LED
MSI Z270 SLI PLUS
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 WindForce OC 8GB GDDR5X VR Ready
SanDisk Plus 120GB
WD Blue 1TB
ASUS DVD-REC Blu-Ray BW-16D1HT

I have a monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard too obv.

You learn not much is future proof. But good choices on GPU, most things but I would not skimp on SSD. In fact I would not buy the 1TB HDD and that could go towards a 512GB SSD which for most is plenty.
