Please, a full week

by narduk / June 15, 2007 7:21 PM PDT

I really, really need a full week of Buzz Out Loud. I have not had one in FOREVER. I need Tom, Molly, and Veronica 5 days in a row. I don't think the three of you understand. Imagine if coffee could just take a day off. Imagine if your computer could say, "Hey I'm having a baby! I'll turn on in a few months." Imagine if your cell phone took the day off to watch freaking baseball!

Come on TMV! I need my BOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think you really understand, either. Maybe if YOU carry a baby for nine months, push it out of YOUR body and then have that little person rely on YOU for everything maybe you would.

I miss their dynamic and cannot get enough a good Molly rant myself. But I would rather have some of them than none of them. It will probably be some time until we get a full week of the full TMV team.
You're just gonna have to suck it up until then.

Happy

But I need to add that I didn't mean to imply that empathy/understanding is limited to women and mothers. There are plenty of men who get it.

As the father of a 2.5 year old girl with another one on the way within the next 2 weeks I COMPLETELY understand Molly not being there everyday. Heck, I'm impressed she's back at all (my wife took off for a year after our first and will do so again this time.)

Not that I don't consider her a part of the regular crew right now (I know she'll be back eventually) but I look at it like this - whenever Molly's on, it's pure gravy.

Why what doing a pod cast five days a week is better than being a mom WOW get a grip If Molly needs to take off a few days to be with her son and if Tom is out then Rafe and V were good together podcasting so back off and give Molly a break since she is a new mom.

I understand that you have failed to realise that TMV are not machines. While it seems a blindingly obvious point, your comparison of the show's hosts in fact underlines your failure to comprehend the aforementioned point.

Imagine if coffee could just take a day off. Imagine if your computer could say, "Hey I'm having a baby! I'll turn on in a few months." Imagine if your cell phone took the day off to watch freaking baseball!

If you ever feel like saying something like this again, sublimate it, and think again. We at CNET, and we here on the BOL Lounge do not appreciate such comments.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
