Pleas help DNS Server

Hi I am doing a project for college and I am running windows server with active directory and DNS server role. The IP of my server is 192.168.1.13 255.255.255.0 but my DNS server isn't working I don't know if its the preferred DNS I set what should my DNS be set to?

The DNS would be the address of your server.

Also, be sure you know how to use NSLOOKUP (google if you must, I decline to duplicate the web on this item.)
