The network delays the playback so you can get very odd effects. There is software on download.com (you search for it, not me) that allows network playback as you ask, but the delays are picked up by our ears and most will complain. I don't implement for anyone since I know they will only complain to me about it.
Someday someone will give you another tweak bar to add substract audio delay to each node.

I'm trying to stream music into multiple rooms of my apartment so that, while entertaining, it's possible to move through the apartment and hear the music everywhere WITHOUT the need to blast it in any one room.
Seems like there should be a way to accomplish this as long as there's a wireless network covering the whole apartment (there is) and a computer in each room (between desktops and notebooks, there could easily be). Anybody ever done this or have any suggestions? I'm trying to avoid the expense of more hardware and use the machines I've already got.
Thanks--
