playing slides from laptop

Nov 28, 2004 2:32AM PST

my question is two fold:

I need to know how to play my slideshow ( made with Sony's Vegas movie studio)
I will be traveling to another country - I will have a laptop with me -
do I just need to connect the computer to a slide projector?
the country I am visiting has different voltage - 220
will my laptop connection work with a projector using diff voltage?
thanks

1. VGA connections are thankfully standard worldwide.

2. Look at your laptop power "brick". Mine notes 100 to 240 VAC and 50 to 60 Hz. Yours?

I've done such for years and the only trouble is if the projector can't handle a certain resolution and refresh rate. After awhile you learn to try 640x480 and 60Hz output first...
