Resolved Question

Playing Music

Aug 22, 2013 10:19PM PDT

I like to listen to music while I get my news and read my email. I have pinned a couple of internet radio stations. When I launch one it plays just fine, but when I try to do anything else the music stops.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

If you are listening to online music and at the time if you open any other
website to get email or read news then actually the previous website of
online music or website gets removed and then new website launches hence you
are facing the issue. The solution is to open two different browsers or
tabs. Open Internet Explorer and start your Radio or Music and then once
again open another Internet Explorer and then open your News Website of the
Email and it should work perfectly.

Your method works just fine. I found an alternate way (which is actually the same I think), I open my radio site on the Desktop then switch back to Metro and go about my business. Works like a champ and the music plays until I close the window in Desktop. (Now I just wish I could organize my favorites in the Desktop like I could before I got Win8/IE10).
