When I connect my laptop(IBM T40) to my TV(Samsung TX-R2735) via S-video cable, and configure the Display Properties(WindowsXP Pro)to extend the desktop onto my TV, flash videos do display, though with somewhat poor resolution; but, with Windows Media Player, and with RealPlayer, what happens is that although the virtual player is visible, the display area inside the player is blank--and that's with the resolution all the way down to 800 X 600. What's going on? How can I get my computer to display fully, if not necessarily perfectly, on my TV?
