Playback Devices

Sometimes my logitec G35 is not listed on the playback devices so I have to reconnect the G35. Every time when i reconnected the numbers on playback devices (4-Logitech G35 Headset) is increased. It's now 4 if I reconnected again then it is going to be (5-LogitechG35 Headset) 5. So how can I delete these numbers? I'm requesting all of your help to fix this minor problem.

It's not a minor problem.

It points to a flaw in either or both Windows and that product. If the maker has no fix, pack it up and return it as defective.

Logitech

It is not only the playback devices I have the similar problems with the Logitech webcam, C910, webcam pro 9000 and others. Whenever I reconnected these webcams it increase the number like I mentioned before. Regarding to the G35 I installed the latest the logitech gaming software v8.01.120 so there is possibility of g35 is not listed on the playback devices. I usually do uninstall and reinstalled on the Device Manager, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work.

It is pretty hard for me to say which product has problems motherboard (USB ports) or the Logitech products. The number increase but it works without problems so I still use it.

You just proved the industry has a problem.

It's decades later and the industry still hasn't got this right. While most things work, when it doesn't you should return it.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
