Upload to youtube, then embed!

If you're just trying to embed a video, why not upload it to youtube? (You might have to upload it to youtube as a different file type, though).

Once it's uploaded, youtube gives an embed code, and you can just paste that HTML onto your site. Bam! You have a simple player that can play, pause, full screen, volume control, etc!

Of course, if your video is an interactive flash video that allows users to click buttons in the video, etc. Then you'd want to embed your own flash player like Sovereign mentioned above.

FLV html generator, I forgot the URL, I'll go search and post it, you just enter the URL of the flv file, you can customize the player, add controls, etc., the you just copy the code and paste it into your webpage, it's the best option for me right now.

Having experimented with several different methods of playing video on my site, I decided to go with Flowplayer. It pauses smoothly when it runs out of bandwidth (unlike HTML5 in it's current state), and has a one touch button to go full-screen.

It's not that hard to set up, if you just follow the instructions and demos.
