It looks like a card malfunction, but without inspecting it, it would be hard to determine any sort of diagnosis. Based on the picture, it doesn't seem to be the panel is bad (though it's possible), but I'd guess it was a video card or board.
That said, anything a technician says is 10 times more valuable just by being able to be there and see it and look into it.
So I just moved from the interior to the coast and my TV was working perfectly fine when I last used it and now it's got all these black lines and is really dark. (I'll post a picture). I'm not sure if this is something that I should keep or just get rid of.
The TV sat in storage at a buddies place, It was locked up in storage and never turned on until now. To me it seems to be something that seems fixable but me not knowing all too much about plasma's I can't say, but hopefully it is.
The TV is a Samsung HP-T5054 Plasma 50"
Why does this occur and what exactly is it caused by?
