Whenever posting questions on these forums, please give us as much information as possible about your computer. Depending on your issue, we might need the operating system, processor speed, amount of RAM installed, brand name of the computer, (if there is one), and any EXACT error messages you are receiving, and any other information you think might be helpful. The more information you give us, the better informed our answer will be.
In the meantime....A few things to try:
While in Internet Explorer, click on "Tools", choose "Internet Options". When that loads, click on the "Advanced" tab, then scroll down to the "Multimedia" section. Make sure there is a CHECK mark in the box next to "Show Pictures" and to UNCHECK the box next to "Show image download place holders". If you make any changes, click on "Apply", then OK.
You can also try downloading and installing the either, or both of the Java Virtual machines at the links below:
Sun Java Download Site
Microsoft Virtual Machine Download (Version 3810 is the most recent available but Microsoft's VM must be installed before applying this particular update.)
Hope this helps and let us know more..
On some websites, instead of seeing the graphics (and pictures) properly displayed, I often see place holders in blank frames. What setting do I need to adjust to see the website as designed?
