The CNET Cheapskate had a deal on the Moto G5 Plus for 199USD and I snagged the 4GB RAM model for 50 bucks under its usual price. https://www.cnet.com/news/get-an-unlocked-moto-g5-plus-phone-for-199-99/
It seems nice, has Android Nouget 7 and am testing it now. I charged it up and look at it daily and it's 7 days since charging. 54% charge remaining so for me this is fine. It may become my everyday phone.
I'm currently looking for a new phone and have narrowed it down to the OnePlus 5 or the Google Pixel. Right now the Pixel is $789 AU and the OnePlus 5 is $759 AU, so price is irrelevant for me - I simply want the better phone. I appreciate the better camera of the Pixel but worry that it may be too old now. Thoughts/what would you do in my position? Thanks.
