But http://www.avermedia-usa.com//AVerTV/Product/ProductList.aspx?action=search&device=3 and some of these allow a PIP and comes closer since the video input is not dependent on the PC performance.
PS. Again. There is no one I know that has been happy enough about such things to tell me "that's it!"
I searched this on Google before turning to posting on tech forums, as I try to do my homework first; nothing resulted in search.
I have a 22" Widescreen Envision PC monitor (model # G218a1) with both a VGA and a DVI input. I use the VGA for my PC, and the DVI for my PS3.
I work at my desk constantly during the evening and weekends, and like to watch/listen to a movie while still researching the net or using the PC. Instead of putting a movie in the PC DVD player I usually play it through the PS3 (also hooked up to my 5.1 PC speakers), however this leaves me unable to work on the computer. I know I could use PowerDVD and split the screen between the movie and Windows, but when I load/scroll websites the movie and sound skips (very annoying).
Is there a way to split the monitor between the VGA and DVI inputs at the same time? Basically I want my monitor to run PIP like you would between two TV channels at once.
Appreciate any help!
