Pioneer Receiver Troubleshooting

by nichojs / November 5, 2013 10:20 AM PST

I have a pioneer receiver SX-255R and when I plug the receiver in, the red light comes on but no functions or lights of the receiver work. I am trying to learn how to fix up receivers my self so because I have a couple not working. I am looking for any advice with this particular pioneer receiver problem, but also would love any good websites or literature explaining how to troubleshoot stereo receivers and how to fix them. Any advice would be great!
