pinnacle PCTV DELUXE USB2 didnt work with my laptop pc buyer beware

Hi has anyone else had the problems i had with the pinnacle PCTV DELUXE usb2 first of all my laptop specs are intel celeron 2.6gighz 512mbs ram win xp home not sure of graphics card , i had a week of problems with it , tv was freezing up recordings same thing , even on pins forum lots of problems with the pctv deluxe usb 2 said on box watch tv and record on any pc , cost me 485 bucks in au, pinnacle and the store kept on saying it must be my new lappy pc , they replaced the unit ,but same problems so after reading a forum about the same problems with that unit , i got my money back and bought a haupauge wintv pvr usb2 after install the hauppauge PVR USB2 works like a charm on my laptop pc no freeze ups nps at all , (btw i have usb2 ports) im still thinking the pinnacle pctv deluxe usb2 has a major fault with it and maybe should be recalled til they can fix the device up whatever the cause is , plus if theres a problem with it working on some laptops/pcs then it should say so on the box , just the same both these units work of there own power supplys so wouldnt need to draw much if any power from ur usb , so i guess its buyer beware of the pinnacle PCTV DELUXE usb2 version , btw the working hauppauge PVR USB2 cost me 539bucks in au, sounds a lot, is a lot, but well worth it for a working unit , sorry about the long post but as u can see the pin unit and all the probs i had with it p***sed me off . so have u or anyone else had problems with pins pctv delux usb2 ?
