Pinnacle Liquid 5.5 or Avid Express Studio

Sep 25, 2004 3:03AM PDT

I have Studio 9 and am considering an upgrade to Pinnacle Liquid edition 5.5. Studio 9 is ok.

However, I am wondering if a new purchase of Avid Express Studio essentials may be better. As a student I can purchase the software at a special price. I have never used avid but understand it is one of the best software products available. Thoughts

All very good, but what is it that you need to do... that you can't do with what you have?

The Pinnacle Studio 9 is adequate for editing vacation video's. I have not purchase all the updates for the program. What I have now I consider limited for special effects. Also, Background audio has been inconsistent with the program.

I guess I'm wondering of the two mentioned software editing programs, which one is perferred...

Thanks

You'll most likely see your issues vanish.

I do not own it, but have been to shows to try such.
