pink screen

i wonder if yuo can help... i have a faiirly new tower which i have hooked up to a samsung lcd tv. works perfect but recently i had some sort of virus which didnt let me start the computer into windows. i started it in safe mode a few times and once when it started it did it in pink. i managed to get rid of the problem by setting the computer back a week but i still have a pink screen. the tv works fine with norml tv and all colours are showing. can anyone help

Reinstall the video drivers?

the computer is a self build my mate has done and its running on
XP profesional
amd dual core 64x2
