picture wont come on my 19 inch tv

hi i've a problem with my samsung syncmaster 932mw tv i got up this morning to find no picture on tv it comes on for a split second when switched on then goes blank i can still hear the sound but no picture and every time i try to switch it on it just comes on for a second and screen goes blank just my luck the warrenty ran out a couple of months ago. any ideas. cheers

If you're connected to a cable or satellite box, try unplugging that for a minute, plug it back in, power it on and see if that helps. Sometimes the box needs to be refreshed or updated.
