Question

Picture shrunk on a Samsung BD-C5500

My Blu-ray player worked fine for over a year, then suddenly it won't use the full screen for any mode. Even the menu screen comes up filling only the center of the screen, and even seems a little compressed side-to-side. It is connected via HDMI to a 47" Samsung LCD TV, which uses the full screen for everything but the BD player.
Things I have tried:
Tried every resolution setting I could.
Updated the software to the latest revision.
Reset the Player to factory specs.

Problem resolved

I tried your suggestion on the RGB, and that fixed the problem I was having, but loses the benefits of Blu-ray. I then tried connecting the HDMI output from the BD player to a different HDMI input on the Samsung TV (there are four), and that also fixed the problem. Apparently one of the jacks on the TV has gone bad. It is under an extended warranty, so I will se what I can do about that, but for now it is working.
