I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.

Often, picture drop-out issues are a result of HDCP, and if you're connected to a cable/sat box, try unplugging it to reset the unit. In many cases, this fixes the issue. If that doesn't work, the box may need to be refreshed or upgraded (this can often times be done over the phone with your service provider).

Before paying anyone, try troubleshooting that first to see if that fixes the issue.
