How about a dropbox account? It's in the cloud and everybody you give access to can use it from everywhere. Seems to meet your requirements.

There are now a lot of "MY OWN CLOUD" drives out now. CNET did quite a few articles for folk to learn more. Link follows. AKA NAS, you attach it to your network and for the Cloud bit, you add accounts and apps to the other machines.
