photosmart c4180

Hello i was given a new c4180 photosmart all in one.Does anyone know
how small you can resize photos to print?I have an hp pavillion s7700e,with vista home premium.Be fore this computer i had an hp pavillion with win98se.And i had a deskjet 932c printer and a scanjet 3300c.i could scan and size the photo to width 1.5 inch, height 2.5 inch.My wife and i make a xmas ornament for our grandaughter.We take photos throughout the year and glue on ornament.As far as just printing things off the internet,my deskjet 932c works fine.need a scanner that will do the same as my old scanner.
