PHOTOSHOP won't recognize my SCANNER

by dmanyc / October 6, 2004 11:35 AM PDT

Hi. I have recently reformatted my hard drive, and now I am unable to figure out how to make Photoshop 6 recognize my Epson Perfection 636U scanner. I have downloaded the new driver from the Epson website and I have double clicked to install it. But there seems to be a step I am missing and I can't figure out what it is.

Can anyone help me?

When I see this, I use the scanner software to scan to a file and then open such with the editing software.

Best of luck,

Is the scanner turned before you open the program? That is what I have to do with my all-in-one.
