Photoshop Elements ONE version back

You can pick up an older version of Elements for almost free. I have several versions of Photoshop on Mac and PC as well as versions of Elements. I like Elements for the most part and can do everything a newbie would want to do easily. IF someone shows the newbie how to do the jobs they can learn 80% in 15 mminutes and be very pleased. Why would you want to use anything else...hydrogen cars anyone?
