photos not displaying

Some emails that I receive do not display the photo that is sent - a outlined box with a red x is displayed. What settings do I have to change for these to appear.

Right click on the box with the red x, choose properties and see what it points to. See if you can find any difference between photo's that DO show and photo's that DON'T show.
Could be file type (.jpg) or location (url, folder it's in).

Post your findings.

Kees, could be a corrupt file. No one can view this file.
Happens to me also sending out a file every once in a while. Has to do with the internet and how the files are sent and interpreted.
Sent one to Joe Randolph a few weeks ago. Red X! Corrupt!
Resent the file.
One other way is to download it again. Same Red X Block? Corrupt file maybe. I see these files generated from customers all the time on a weekly basis. Open up with viewer and take a scren shot maybe.
Is there a primer on how to send files for others to know? How to deal with a corrupt file? Would be a help for most. Red X Block: Trouble. Have the file sent again.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
