This might be a problem on your side or on the recipients side. Impossible to tell with the limited information you supply.
Please tell (for an example message):
- The size of the message in (kilo)bytes. If only text it should be a few kb, if text + picture it's easily 100 or 200 kB.
- The file type of the picture. Can the receiver view files of this filetype when they are on his hard disk.
- How exactly do you insert the photo into what document (right into the mail, or into a document that you attach, that's not very clear).
- What is the email-program of the recepient.
- Can other recipients (test it with your work, or friends or family) see the picture? As attachment or as part of the message?

When I make a document and insert a photo from a file on my computer, The recipent gets a box with an "x" in it. No picture. Just the box. I am using Outlook 2000 with Win XP.
