Question

Photos in Memory card

by colinito / March 15, 2014 8:02 PM PDT

Hello Everyone,
I have a Samsung GT. S5230.
I have Samsung New PC Studio Installed on my Computer.
I have configured my photos to go to my memory card.

Once in my memory card, I am unable to access them in the PC studio.

The Internal memory shows all the Caller ID photos, and all the choices of background pictures.

The external memory - which I believe is the memory card - shows "photos" but when clicked shows it as 'empty.'

My only way to access these photos is to move them to Phone and then access them through PC Studio.

Is there a reason why they do not show in the external memory in PC Studio, and does anyone know of a way to rectify this rather annoying problem?

Thanks,

Colinito.

If your PC has a card reader (quite a lot do have one built in, and an external one connecting via USB isn't so very expensive) you put the card in and it will get a Windows drive letter so you can copy (and delete after you made a backup) everything you want.

Hello Kees,

How pleasant to see you here again, thank you for answering my question!

Unfortunately my tower has no card reader. Neither does my HP 2050 printer.

I bought a Trust multi Card reader, but my PC refuses, or is unable, to download a driver for it! I shall have to go back and see if they have a different one.

So, being stuck between a rock and a hard place, as I said in my question, I have to move them from the memory card to the Phone and then I can access them through PC studio.

(a rather annoying process!)

Thank you,

Colinito.
