There are many ways.

and the easiest way would be to use

iPhoto and iTunes, both of which came with your Mac.

you can make a folder on your computer, then add your photos into this folder, plug in iPod, open iTunes and set the photo destination to the photo folder. And then sync your iPod with iTunes, that's all.

They might if you choose the word Source instead of destination
