Photos disappearing/corrupting

by fids82 / December 16, 2007 11:49 AM PST

I own a toshiba M50 notebook that i bought 2 years ago.

Just recently photos have started corrupting or disappearing from their folder.

I did a disk defragment when this started to happen but it hasn't seemed to have helped as they keep going.

basically i can see the thumbnail of the photo, double click it and in preview i either get the message 'no preview available' or 'drawing failed'.

Can anyone suggest ways to stop this happening please?
Many thanks

It has this checkbox to "rearrange my music." It's been caught moving other files too.
