Photoimpact XLSE- Print layout resize

I can't seem to get Photoimpact XL SE to allow a page size view of full letter size page. I get 4x11 and all prints are distorted to fit the page.
Is there a way to reset the default page size.. I show that 8.5x11 is the chosen size, but the print preview only shows 4x11. The program is useless with this default size. I can't print samples to make sure images are printing properly. I have the latest updates. Is this the default?
I am running WinXP 2nd ed. I have an AMD Athlon system. Can the default be set to 8.5x11?
