Most TVs can't show more than 1080p or now UHD so they might create suitably scaled images so the TV can show an image quickly.
Beyond that, I don't know what a sidecar file is. You'll have to explain that.
Finally why not place just the files you want on the USB stick?
My LG Smart TV automatically creates a set of
duplicate jpegs files that I must bypass in order to "select" the "good" jpegs.
This is so time consuming.
Here is my workflow. I shoot in Raw format, process
the images in Photoshop CS5, I have saved images in DNG format and changed preferences to eliminate the xmp files that show up on the TV.
I'm needing help in finding a way to get rid of the sidecar files that the LG TV replicates.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance
Mark
