Last week, I worked with my father over this same issue. He seemed to "click" and understand when I said.
"Pictures are just files. Treat them the same."
He then used the same method he used to backup files and it worked for him. The Video options are for making OTHER types of CDs.
In short, make a DATA CD.

tried to put photos from digitl camera to hard drive then to cd. no way. got to the poit where the nero program saved the pix iwth its own extnesion but it would only go to there. reading the book mentioned video, data, music, mixed, bootable cd's butno photos. looed to imae files and that was a description of merely waiting to burn data files on the cd later. went thru saving as a nero file first. is it that I have to get some photo program ? am new to this all -- just seemed that it should work (?) maybe the anser is that obvious. ( intel processors, pentium 4, nero 5.x, in cd also, also tried cd writer adn file cd that came from purchase of an internal cd rewritable drive with the machine. nothing about photos - i feel dumb but admit I am amazed -- if have to get program, which one, for basic load the pix, pick the onew to lad, name and develop, after putting on a disc. also use windows, 2000, have word, wperf. thanks from a newbie.
