Photo Editing Software to correct vignetting (dark corners)

Which photo editing software (free or affordable preferred) can I use to easily correct vignetting (dark corners) in digital photos made with wide angle zoom setting? [These are "normal" wide angle effects, not the result of using too-small filters or lens hoods.]
