Question

Phone storage question

Apr 4, 2014 6:28AM PDT

I used to have a blackberry but I now have a Huawei (W1-U34) phone with Windows 8.0 software. My phone storage is 3.69 GB and I have a SD card (7.29 GB). I have unlimited data based on my phone plan.

This sounds silly but I didn't realize that the internet usage on my phone quickly eats up my phone storage. I am currently at 3.58 GB on my phone so what happens when I reach or exceed 3.69 GB?

I'd ask around.

In theory it should clean off old intenet cached content.

Are you writing that maker and seller are not supporting you? I'm heard that Huawei's support is that bad.

Answer
You are likely confusing storage with data used

Where did you ge the 3.58GB number from, btw?

Storage is storage, data used is what you send/receive each month. Two different notions. OTOH, If clearing the phone's cache doesn't put you back closer to 1.5GB-2GB in available space, then you likely have an issue worth calling about.
