Question

Phone not turning on, no leds blinking at all!

Apr 25, 2017 10:13PM PDT

My mi 5 was rooted and was installed with aosp rom. I downloaded a battery calibration app, where it was instructed to start calibration and then when the phone switches off it should be charged to a 100 percent. I had unplugged my phone at 97 percent, but I couldn't switch it back on. There were no leds or anything. I also tried to charge it but now it wouldn't show anything . How can I fix it?

Do not try to do something yourself. Send technical service

I disagree.

We must always try. To stop trying means to acquiesce and pay for what can be simple things to fix.

Just last month a car dealer said I shouldn't change my car battery. I did anyway.
Last year I was told I can't change my water heater. I did anyway since I've changed dozens over the decades.

Answer
Try this old trick.

Remove the power, then the battery. Press and hold the power button for 60 or more seconds. Release, slip in the battery apply the charger, wait a minute and then try a power up. If this fails, contact the mi 5 service center or where you get your warranty work done.
