Phone glitch, keyboard disappearing while typing

I had a Samsung note 8 and for the last few months it seems like my phone is trying to load something but doesn't and it stops what I'm doing. It's mostly annoying when I'm typing (search bar, text message etc.) And my keyboard disappears and then comes back about a second and a half later. I just bought a Note 10+, transfered my info through the usb to usb and now it's happening on my new phone. It also happens on my home screen. The "hey google" disappears from the Google search bar and my white navigation bar pops up and then a second and a half later it goes back to normal.
What I've tried: I took out the SD card and it still happened, I know it's not a hardware issue because it's a new phone. I've reset my language input, used a different keyboard, cleared my cache, reset my phone, disabled bixby and google voice commands, did a virus scan, looked at all my apps to make sure I knew what they were. I would rather not reset everything and manually install everything unless I absolutely have to. Do you happen to have any other suggestions?

If it happens after a factory reset

It's a warranty issue. My view is to not give them much time on the issue as I do not want to be stuck with a bad phone. My limit is three tries by the shop and then I want a refund to go buy something else.

Not the issue

It was happening on my old phone too and I imagine whatever app or setting I had from my old phone is now on my new phone and now it's happening on my new phone

How to hunt what it may be.

I start with a factory reset and the phone SHALL BE without issues or I stop right there.

No maker or shop will help you if the phone works fine in factory condition so how do we find it?

We have to install app by app, one by one, testing as we go. There are no known apps that break phones as you noted so you are stuck with the old fashioned way to find it. I've had some clients that think support should know what causes the issue but I've only been in the smart phone world for over a decade as I write apps for our office. Because of that I get a lot of support exposure and have developed the process I write of here.

Unless the OP....

...bought the phone less than 12 months ago new, there is no warranty left. Even if it was, Samsung may no longer honor warranty protection on a device that old. Remember that the current Samsung Note is the model 10.

If you can, share the fix.

You may save folk time on this in the future.

It was an exercise app

I started deleting apps going from the most recent downloads. It was a fitness app, not sure which one because I deleted all three together.
