Question

Phone doesnt turn on

Mar 4, 2016 12:17PM PST

Hello, i have a Huwaei Ascend G730 which stopped at midnight while I was using my phone. First it was restarting again and again itself. I dont know what problem was caused. Then it stopped working and I tried turning it on but didnt turn on. Then also tried connecting it to the charger but a red light appeared for few minutes and then disappeared.
I tried different methods like connecting it to laptop and leaving it to charge for few hours but didnt work.
What probem is it? Is it that I should try replacing the battery or what? need help

Answer
Try the usual.

Remove the SIM and memory card and try holding down the power button for a few minutes. Then hook to the charger and retry.

If you can pull the battery for a minute, repeat the steps above.

If that fails, check the warranty.

Call Huwaei support?

It maybe a common problem that they have a solution for. Or go to a phone store that carries this model and see if you could try one of their batteries to see if it powers up. If it does, then the battery is faulty and you can either buy a new battery or if your phone is under warranty get a new battery or replace the phone under warranty. Other than that, it looks like you're pretty much done all that has been recommended and I don't think there is anything that can be done.

Sorry to hear your phone is having this problem.
