Phone case buttons

One of the many problems with which I have to deal, is not being (readily) able to press the buttons on my shiny new phone, the physic buttons like volume and power. I am one of those differently able'd people who just wants to make the lives of normal people more difficult.by insisting you do things our way and accommodate us.

Like I said, I have one of those shiny new phones with pretty glass all around. Not only glass but glass as slick as snail slime, or if you are a Dante fan, the seventh layer of Hell. The thing will shoot of my hands faster than a greased piglet at the fair, so a case is sort of required if I want to have it last for more than a week.(I'd be a great study for one of the Gorilla Glass 6 phones when they come out). The problem with that is all the cases seem to have buttons which are even with the case height, if not shorter,. so people like me have a hell of time working with these. I need to figure out a way to make the buttons 2-3 mm taller and whatever performs this function has to be firm, nothing soft and squishy. I have thought of maybe popping out those that came with the case and replacing them but that leaves me with same problem, how do I come up with something that small and precise and not have it falling off or popping out all the time? Well, what do you think?
