Question

Phone cal from Malawi

Hi everyone,
so this morning, it was about 8AM I was asleep and my phone woke me up. Because I wasn't really awake I saw that the Caller ID was from Malawi but I answerd it.Later, I saw that I have missed 3 calls on Viber,too. I didn't say anything it just hang up. Of course, I didn't call it back.
Is it a virus or what is going on?

We don't know where you are, so we don't know whether this is an unusual thing or common for someone in your location.

Is your phone on a land-line, or is it a cell phone/smartphone?

I'm from Bosnia and Herzegovina(Europe) and yes, I've iPhone.
Normally, I wouldn't pick it up but I was stll kind of sleeping.

if a number was left, you can try googling it. also if your phone is a smartphone, you can install apps that can check the phone number to see if it was from known scammers or telemarketers before you pick up.
