If you got an extra, unwanted phone, just send it back to the sender and all charges will be reversed. Sometimes, adtl phones are accidently sent. You have 30 days to return the equipment before you are stuck with the full bill. When you get the phone, you dial a 1-800 # to complete activation, the phone is technically programmed ahead of time.
I just got a new phone and activated it. Cingular sent me another phone, which I didn't ask for, and activated it for me, thus charging me a 100 bucks. Is there a policy anywhere on phone activation? If the company can activate it for you, why are you required to do it yourself? How many days are customers given to activate their phones themselves before the company intervenes?
Many thanks!
