It seems to me right now. I am the only one having this crazy nutty problom. Or at least it seem this way. I have a Philips SoundBar HTS8100 and I have it hooked to my Philips 42" LCD 1080 flat panle tv.
Now this is my sec Philips SoundBar HTS8100 as I took the first one back.
For some reson every DVD I play in my Philips SoundBar seems to hik up but it only seems to do this in 1080p 1080i. But it workd fine in 720. Now it is a up converting DVD player. I called Philipes for help no luck there all I got was please send it in to a servise person. No thanks been there done that. So I put it all back nice in the box and took it back to the store. The I got a new one guess what same problom hik up hik up. all is hooked up to HDMI.
I could use any help anyone might be aboul to give me. I really have know idea what up-converting is trying to convert to. Is it 720,1080p,1080i. Do I have the rong DVD's. Now knowing its a up converting DVD player makes me think that. I do not need a new type of DVD to play on it. I have played the Trancformorers movie and Star Wars and many others. But will only work right in 720. Please help.

P.S. Could I have a bad HDMI cord. Though I do not know the odes of the first Philips SoundBar HTS8100 haveing a one and this one having one.Thanks.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
