First, to clear away one element that can be confusing: DVI and HDMI are exactly the same as one another, image-quality-wise. The principal differences are that HDMI carries audio as well as video, and uses a different type of connector, but both use the same encoding scheme, and that's why a DVI source can be connected to an HDMI monitor, or vice versa, with a DVI/HDMI cable, with no intervening converter box.
Hi all
Im having problem with getting greenish picture every 10-20min while in 1920*1080 resolution. Doesnt matter if its gaming or movie. Have to switch off or revert in windows,and then turn back on,or just switch between hdmi 1 and hdmi 2 and back to 1 on tv...
Its even more frustrating that i got new combination in other room-and same darn thing happens...
Philips lcd 42" 100hz + win7(win xp) on ati hd5670 and dual core intel pc 500w psu...
Philips lcd 32" 100hz + win7 on ati hd5770 x3 athlon pc 650w psu
Both TVs and video cards are brand new. No response from philips or ati...Tried many versions of software and drivers.
Any ideas'?
Is there a reason for newer Hdmi cable? i got regular ones...Sure not 1.4
