Hi i recieved my phillips HDD070/05 jukebox today for christmas and firstly i installed both programs that came with it (Phillips digital media manager & music match jukebox) I have been using Windows Media Player and thats where all my music is stored. I tried converting song from media player to my dukebox and it said they had been converted but when i went to my dukebox i realised that they actually wasnt on there at all. I decided to try out the programs supplied to see if i could do it on there but i cannot get my music from windows media player up from on the given programs. So i am in a situation where i cannot convert all my music from media player to my dukebox. Is it possible to use media player. All my friends mp3 players work on Windows media player but i dont know why mine dont. If i cannot use media player which i dont know why not how can i convert my music from media player to the phillips software i was given. Please help as at the moment it is a wasted christmas present. Thanks

I also received a philips hdd070/05 for christmas and I am lucky that I also saved music in the My Documents/My Music folder and also used Windows Media Player. You should have a My Playlist folder in your shared documents, you may be able to view music saved in the playlist on windows media player in the My Music or My Shared Music/My Playlist folder.

The instructions do mention that you can only use the supplied software to transfer music, however, you can add your music from the My Music folder or Shared Music folder to the software provided. Good luck!

appearently everyone with this player is upset with its software, but no one bothers to check for any other software for it. forget about windows media player, use "sveta portable audio". if you put music on the player as data by dragging and dropping, it will show up as data and the player wont play it, only store it. you need to use the software to load the music onto the player.

If you download and use media player 10 then you can use this with your jukebox. you just drag the songs you want to sync from your library to the sync window, or on the right side make it the sync view and drag to there from your library and then go to the sync window and sync to the player, works great.
