Philips GoGear SA260 Transfer Problem

Someone gave me a Philips Go Gear (SA260) mp3 player which I cannot for some reason sync any music. It's a Plays for Sure player. Every time I sync music to it with WMP, it puts the music in the main folder and not the music folder. I tried WMP 10 and 11, but they both do the same thing. I even tried Linux which allowed me to delete some music off it, but no syncing. I updated the firmware as well, but it didn't help either. In the manual it says it has a disc which I don't have which may be one problem. Any insight on the matter would be mucho appreciated. Thanks for any help.
