Philips 32" LCD (32PF7320A/37)- Safety mode feature

Nov 8, 2005 4:55AM PST

I had my Costco purchased Phillips 32" LCD a week before it stopped working. There's a safety mode that the TV can go into if improperly shut down or a surge is experienced. The TV's front LED on the left side of the unit will blink in red with (1) long and (3) short blinks. As far as I know a technician needs to come out and reset the unit. As long as its under warranty Philips will steer you to a local technician who will come out and reset the unit. Make sure you have a copy of your receipt! What happened to the days pounding the top of a recalcitrant TV until submission occured?

Put your TV on a battery UPS and find out how to reset it yourself. John
